NEWNAN, Ga. -- An 8th grade student at Madras Middle School in Newnan is the winner of this year's Coweta County Spelling Bee.

Natalie Caylor won in the 20th round of competition. She correctly spelled "insinuate" and "leonine" to take the crown.

Dynahsty James, a 7th grader at Lee Middle school, was the runner-up. Both girls received Kindles as rewards for their achievement.

Last week's win was Caylor's second victory. She won the Coweta County Spelling Bee in 2011 as a 5th grader at Arbor Springs Elementary School.

"I am so happy for Natalie," Madras Middle principal Lorraine Johnson said. "She is a great student and a real leader at our school."

"It was amazing," Caylor said of her win. "I'm really glad I was able to do this in my last year at Madras."

Caylor's younger sister Rebecca, a 5th grader at Arbor Springs, also competed in the bee as her school's champion.

The 2014 Coweta County Spelling Bee was held at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts.
