Child struck by vehicle in Newnan | News
NEWNAN, Ga. -- A slow-moving car struck a small child on a scooter in Newnan on Tuesday, police said.
According to Newnan Police Chief Buster Meadows, the incident happened on Mary Ann Street. The child came out of the driveaway on the street into the street and was hit by a vehicle.
Meadows said the child had an injury on his lip, but was playing with firemen. He was taken to Atlanta Medical Center to be checked out.
No other details were available.
