Missing Newnan teen found safe | News
NEWNAN, Ga. -- Investigators in Coweta County have found an 18-year-old boy who disappeared Wednesday night.
Lt. Stephen Crook with the Coweta County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Grayson Parker was found in the woods near Hal Jones Road and the Newnan Country Club at around noon Thursday. The teen was a little dehydrated but otherwise fine when he was found.
Parker disappeared some time after witnesses saw him at Frazier's Convenience Store at Highway 29 and Edgeworth Road just before 10:30 p.m. His silver Ford four-door truck was found abandoned Thursday morning along Happy Valley Circle just north of town. Investigators said Parker's wallet, credit card and insurance card were in the truck, but there was no sign of the teen.
Crook said deputies are now trying to determine where Parker spent the night.
