COLLEGE PARK– There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

The Towne Club is hosting their Third Annual Peachtree City Monopoly Tournament on Saturday, April 30 at 9:00 a.m. There is no fee for entry and $200 in cash prizes. For more information on the tournament and to pre-register email: PTCmonopoly@yahoo.com; the tourney is open to residents ages 12 and up. The Towne Club is located at the intersection of Peachtree Parkway and Crosstown Road.

On Saturday, The City of College Park will hold their annual Old National Spring Cleanup. The spring cleanup is a “cooperative efforts, designed to clean and beautify Old National Highway”. Local residents are encouraged to participate. Sign up starts at 7:30 a.m. at Grown Folks Café. Grown Folks is located at 5795 Old National Highway.

On Saturday, the First Presbyterian Church will hold a Rummage Sale from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The church is located at 206 Willowbend Road. Proceeds from the Rummage Sale will benefit the Summer High School Mission Trip.

Stately Oaks is holding their 29th Annual Native American Celebration and Gathering on Saturday, February 10 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on the plantation yard. The event will feature Native American games, food, corn grinding, beading, finger weaving, rope-making, blow gun shooting and storytelling activities. Stately Oaks is located at 100 Carriage Lane in Jonesboro.

Come to Dunaway Gardens for Open House in Newnan. The garden was established by famous stage actress Hetty Jane Dunaway on her husband’s plantation. The garden feature spring-fed pools, stone waterfalls and extensive hand-laid rock paths, walls and staircases. Adults are admitted for $10 and children $8. The garden is located at 3218 Roscoe Road in Newnan
