RIVERDALE, Ga. -- There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

Tonight at the Riverdale Town Center Amphitheater, catch a movie during the city’s Friday Night Flicks event. The movie will begin around 8:45 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and lay out at the Riverdale Town Center. On the big screen, Toy Story 3 will be shown. This event is free of charge.

Celebrate 75 years of Gone with the Wind with the people at the Road to Tara Museum and the Stately Oaks Plantation. Attendees will be able to learn about four edifices of real life inspiration that parallel Jonesboro’s history with the characters in Gone with the Wind. Visitors will be able to tour in their vehicles at their own pace. Tickets to this event are $20 per adult and $10 per child ages 6-12 and includes admission to the Road to Tara Museum and Stately Oaks Plantation. The Road to Tara Museum is located at 104 N. Main Street in Jonesboro.

Join the City of Morrow and Morrow Business & Tourism Association for a day of fun in the summertime sun. This year, the Day in the Park and SummerFest has been rolled into one event on the lawn. The event will be held at 5917 Reynolds Road. And residents can enjoy a day of family-friendly entertainment and fun for all ages. The event will be held on Saturday, June 11 from 5:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

The Peachtree City Youth Triathlon will be held on Saturday, June 11 at the Glenloch Recreation Center from 8:00 a.m. until noon. For more information check them out at www.tri4gold.org.

The Benefit Bike Ride will be held at the Peachtree City Wal-Mart and will benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The ride will be held on Saturday, June 11. Registration will start at 10:00 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. and the actual ride will start at noon. The Peachtree City Wal-Mart is located at 2717 Highway 54 in Peachtree City. Free Flicks at The Fred is showing How to Train Your Dragon on Saturday, June 11. Gates will open at 8:00 p.m. and the movie begins around 9:00 p.m. The movie screening is being presented by Dolce Hotels & Resorts. The Fred is located at 201 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City.
