SUWANEE, GA -- With 46.9 percent of the online vote, Hiram at Lambert is 11Alive and Atlanta.HighSchoolSports.net's Game of the Week. And now that the postseason has started, the stakes are higher than ever.

Hiram and Lambert are both relatively new schools. Hiram's football program kicked things off in 2000 and the 8-2 Hornets are in the playoffs for the second year in a row. Lambert, only in its first full year of varsity play, is also 8-2 and looking to make a splash in the postseason.

Hiram has given up more points than Lambert this season, but the Hornets have also scored more points.

Lambert has scored more than 30 points only once this year; Hiram has reached that mark six times.

11Alive will broadcast live from Lambert during the 6 pm newscast.

The game's winner will play the winner of Tucker- Loganville next Friday.

With 39.5 percent of the vote, Heritage-Conyers and Marist took second place in the Game of the Week voting. Heritage is 7-3, but has not beaten a plus-.500 team since September 10th. Marist is 8-2 and recently beat 7-3 Mays 24-7. The winner of this game plays the winner of Chattahoochee-Pope.

Newnan at South Cobb was also up for Game of the Week. This 5A matchup pits 6-4 Newnan against 7-3 South Cobb. South Cobb is on a four-game winning streak, but Newnan has won five of their last six games in one of the state's toughest regions.

The winning team takes on either Lowndes or Groves in Round Two.

The final Game of the Week matchup is West Forsyth at South Gwinnett.

South Gwinnett, who is on a four-game winning streak, has only lost to Lowndes (a one seed) and Brookwood (a one seed).

7-3 West Forsyth has lost two of their last three games. They are in the playoffs for the first time in school history.
